Xbasic Scripts

Create Xbasic Scripts from the Web Projects Control Panel for testing code. Xbasic Scripts are not published to the Application Server.

Discussion

You can create Xbasic Scripts from the Web Control Panel. The sole purpose of Xbasic Scripts is to allow you to develop and test Xbasic code from within the Alpha Anywhere IDE. Xbasic scripts are not published when you publish your application and are not intended to be used at run-time.

To create a new Xbasic Script, select the Xbasic category in the Web Control Panel, then click the New button.

Click the Create a new Xbasic Script button.

Enter the code you want to test and then click the lightning bolt on the toolbar to execute the code.
